Total number of eggs gathered today: 27
- Picked up my mother from work (in her car)
- Cut the staves to length for fence posts
- Found 3 eggs that my father had set down “in a safe place” a few days ago
- Sharpened one fencepost
- Replaced one old rotting fence post with a new one
- Checked to make sure that the heifers hadn't gotten out while I had the power off to the fence
- Gathered more eggs
