Chores for the rest of the day

In no particular order:

• Carried more water to the chickens, three more times
• Gathered eggs again (no problem from Beta rooster this time — must have learned his lesson from the morning)
• Tossed 12 more bales down from the upper barn to the level with the cattle and stacked them
• Fed the cattle again
• Fed the boiler three more times (typical day)
• Labeled egg cartons from the morning

My father was feeling somewhat better in the evening, but I expect I'll probably at least be doing the morning chores tomorrow. We'll see about the afternoon chores.

Having had to do his chores during the Fall certainly helped with taking over during this illness. He was certainly less concerned about not being able to do his chores himself. ;-)
