Friday chores

Morning:

• *Gather eggs (28)
• *Feed chickens
• *Deliver 2 dozen eggs + 5 gallons of maple syrup to local store/restaurant
• *Delivered two bales of hay to use as decorations in front of town hall for Ashfield Fall Festival

Afternoon:

• *Gather eggs (10)
• *Feed chickens (seeing a pattern here?)
• Empty and clean van
• Load display racks for helwen's craft booth in town hall into van
• *Feed hen wandering around in wrong section of barn
• *While hen is feeding, calmly pick it up and carry it back to the rooms that the chickens are supposed to be in
• Load crafts for helwen and supplies for my booth (maple cotton candy) into van
• Set up helwen's craft space in the town hall

Tonight:

• Clean bowl of cotton candy machine
• Count out change for cash boxes
• Load remainder of supplies for cotton candy sales into van

OK, some of these are not my father's chores; they're mine. My father's chores are the ones marked with an asterisk (*) above.

That's pretty much it. Works for enlightenment, too. :-D

And checking to make sure the cattle are still in the pasture has already become automatic enough that I'm not bothering to include it in the list of chores.
