By the light of the moon

It's one of those joys of living in the countryside. You arrive home in the evening, when the moon is just past full. You pull into the driveway and turn off the headlights, and the land around you is clearly lit.

And so is that heifer standing right beside your vehicle...

I'll have to re-check the fence in the morning. Couldn't see anything obvious tonight, even by the bright moonlight.

Freedom-loving heifers and all.

The land around here is fully lit at all times, but it's streetlighting, not moonlighting.
