I've done something joyous to my thumb. I was pressing down on something for a bit of leverage, and, as usual, my muscles seem to be too strong for my joints. My left thumb decided to fold backwards which a *crunch* sensation in the joint at the base (I thought at first that the wood that I was pressing had broken). I still have full range of motion (so far), and little enough pain or swelling (didn't really even hurt much when I did it), but there's a dull ache underlying everything.
Going to have to be careful of it for a while. Soft tissue injury in a joint, after all.
This could interfere with my plans for next Saturday, where I was hoping to renew my heavy weapons authorizations for the SCA. Depends on what the thumb does next.
