[Yes, I am intentionally posting these out of order.]

Had a dye scan/MRI on my right shoulder this afternoon. The whole process took about two hours, from the initial X-ray through the injection of contrast dye using a floural X-ray (allows moving X-ray images) to the actual session in the MRI. I'd forgotten how well padded the table is in the MRI (it's been several years since I had one), and since it was my shoulder, they strapped me in pretty well. About half-way through the session, I got a wicked itch on the other shoulder.

Now I wait for the next appointment with the orthopedist to discuss the results, on January 14th.

shoulder MRIs are fun - they really do take longer than a lot of other types of studies. my knee MRI was half the length of the shoulder one. Did you try singing Pase el Agua (sp) during some of the rhythmic pounding?
