Going for a walk tomorrow...

helwen and I went for a walk to the local grocery store this afternoon, to pick up a few items. The distance is just under one mile, each way.

Walking there was the easy part. Walking back, however, with the pack basket loaded with the items that we had bought (somewhere between 30 and 35 lbs of goods), was a bit more interesting. It's different doing that in armor -- the weight is more evenly distributed.

Good exercise.

Something that will transfer the weight from your shoulders to your hips will make carrying that much mass enormously easier.
