Family health update
Feb. 28th, 2010 07:47 pmMy father has been moved to the ICU and been intubated to help him breathe, and is on heavy antibiotics as well as other medications to stabilize his blood pressure and heart rate. He has been sedated and may or may not be aware of what is happening to him, but we've been told to treat him as if he can hear us.
One thing going for us is that my father does not give up or give in easily. We hope that that, along with the medical treatment, the healing energy that has been offered, and the best wishes of our friends, will be sufficient.
We go day-to-day at this point, if not hour-to-hour.
