U.S. mid-term elections

I don't usually post political items in my journal (unless notes about scams and spams would be considered political), but I will note that we have been to our polling site and cast our votes.

More people should do that.

i really do NOT understand the "can't be bothered to vote" crowd, although i sympathize with "if God had meant us to vote, he would have given us candidates".. still, its the one chance you have where the powers that be in politics have no more say than you do.
if you disenfranchise yourself, don't come whining to me.

The reason I always vote is - if you don't vote, you can't bitch! Even if you're only voting for the least of all of the possible 'evils'. [sigh - I HATE politics, of ALL kinds]
