I just received an automated phone message from the electric utility that provides our service, saying that they were working around the clock to restore the power in our area, with 1000 or more crews out on the roads at this time.

I had heard in town at lunch time that some people had received this automated message over the weekend.

I was amused to receive this call 28 hours after our power was restored...
