You're almost set to depart that morning. You've found everything but one or two items.

Then you can't find something in particular. You search your home from top to bottom, looking. Nowhere to be found. When was the last time that you had it? Are you sure you brought it home? Will anyone notice that you don't have it?

You lose an hour searching. Other items get neglected because now you're focused on finding this particular thing, wherever it may be. Expected departure time comes and goes.

Finally, you have to go. Your mood is now off, because you couldn't find it. Part of your mind stays with it all day, and the next.

Two days later, it's found, in a closet that you searched more than once that morning, hanging on a hook, in a cloth bag.

Relief. And annoyance...
