As if the rain weren't enough

Beavers have decided to build dams and flood a swamp just North of the farm, blocking one culvert and nearly blocking a second. Water is already overflowing the paved road right next to the swamp, bypassing the dam and going back down into the second culvert and flowing across the road into the stream. The soft shoulder of the road collapsed under my feet when I was inspecting the dam.

I expect the next stage would be to start building the dam onto the road itself...
