Concentus Choir

fitzw[Haven't been posting a lot lately -- been sick, been busy.]
The Concentus Choir had a reheasal last night. Normally we meet once a week on Sundays, except right after an event where we sing, but I was rather sick last week (intestinal virus -- lost 9 lbs in 3 days). I'm sick again (this time with a severe cough), but we held practice anyway.

lady_jade_01, who has had her own issues keeping her away from practice.
We practiced one familar song as part of the warm-up exercises, and then we worked on a new song from Ravenscroft, "We bee Souldiers Three". I was cruel -- I didn't have copies of the music prepared to hand out (my transcription still needs work), so I was teaching the song by playing a line, and then having the group sing it back to me. No words yet. It actually worked out rather well. We closed up afterwards with another song that we're familiar with, and then had cake to celebrate our hostess' birthday.
